Principle of Bag Filter Housing

Bag filter is a common industrial filter. Its working principle is to use filter bags to filter fluids and filter out impurities, particles and other substances, thereby purifying the fluid. Bag filters usually consist of filter housing, filter bags, inlet and outlet pipes, support baskets, etc.

The working principle of bag filter is as follows:
1. Feed
The fluid enters the inside of the bag filter housing through the inlet pipe.

2. Filtration
When the fluid passes through the filter bag, impurities, particles and other substances are filtered out by the pores on the filter bag, thereby achieving the purpose of purifying the fluid. The filter bags of bag filters are usually made of polyester, polypropylene, nylon, polytetrafluoroethylene and other materials. Filter bags of different materials have different filtration precision and corrosion resistance.

3. Discharge
The fluid filtered by the filter bag flows out from the outlet pipe of the bag filter to achieve purification purposes.

4. Cleaning
When impurities, particles and other substances on the filter bag accumulate to a certain extent, the filter bag needs to be cleaned or replaced. Bag filters usually use backflushing, water washing, mechanical cleaning, etc. to clean the filter bags.

The advantages of bag filters are good filtration effect, simple operation, and easy maintenance.
