Correct Use of Hydraulic Oil Filter

1. Before replacing the hydraulic oil filter element, drain the original hydraulic oil in the box, check the return oil filter element, oil suction filter element and pilot filter element to see if there are iron filings, copper filings or other impurities attached. If so, there may be a fault in the hydraulic component where the hydraulic oil filter element is located. After inspection and elimination, clean the system.
2. When replacing the hydraulic oil, all hydraulic oil filter elements (return filter element, oil suction filter element, pilot filter element) must be replaced at the same time, otherwise it is equivalent to not replacing it.
3. Identify the hydraulic oil grade. Do not mix hydraulic oil of different grades and brands, as this may cause the hydraulic oil filter element to react and deteriorate, producing flocs.
4. Before refueling, the hydraulic oil filter (oil suction filter) must be installed first. The pipe covered by the hydraulic oil filter leads directly to the main pump. If impurities enter, it will accelerate the wear of the main pump at the least, and may even cause the pump to break.
5. After refueling, pay attention to exhaust the air from the main pump. Otherwise, the whole vehicle will not move temporarily, the main pump will make abnormal noise (air boom), and the hydraulic oil pump will be damaged by cavitation. The way to exhaust the air is to loosen the pipe joint at the top of the main pump and fill it up directly.
6. Perform oil quality inspection regularly. Hydraulic filter elements are consumables and need to be replaced immediately when they are blocked.
7. Make sure the system oil tank and pipelines are flushed clean, and use a refueling device with a filter when refueling.
8. Do not let the oil in the tank come into direct contact with the air, and do not mix new and old oil. This will help extend the service life of the filter element.
