Working Principle Overview

 

This oil filter element operates on a depth and surface filtration principle to effectively remove contaminants from hydraulic or lubricating oil systems.

 

As contaminated oil flows through the filter element, it first passes through the outer filter media, which is made of high-quality filter paper. The porous structure of the media captures solid particles such as metal debris, dust, and sludge while allowing clean oil to pass through smoothly. The filtered oil then flows inward toward the center support structure. The galvanized fish-scale inner skeleton provides strong mechanical support, preventing deformation under pressure and ensuring stable flow channels during continuous operation. The carbon steel end caps with blue powder coating secure the filter element within the housing, while the nitrile rubber (NBR) gaskets ensure a tight seal to prevent bypass leakage and maintain filtration integrity.

 

Through this process, the filter maintains consistent oil cleanliness, reduces system wear, and extends the service life of hydraulic components.
